A few years ago, I took on an opportunity to edit a book, named “Biodiversity and Evolution of Fungal Parasites and Pathogens” (Elsevier). This project has taken up countless hours writing to people, reminding authors and reviewers of deadlines, and revising many, many pages of text but I am quite happy with how some of the content is starting to look. The book is supposed to be published in 2024 and while I do not know if this is still possible, a number of book chapters have already been published online as preprints. I am sharing them here as a collection.
